Words yesterday: Roughly 1,500. Today: 1,147. I'm hovering on the ragged edge of being done with Chapter Sixteen. Then on to Seventeen, etcetera--and if I can keep a similar pace up, I don't see any problem making deadline at all. Just how far over the 100,000-word mark I'll be by then I don't know, of course, but...cross that bridge when we come to it. A lot of this is probably fixable just by readjusting syntax alone, killing darlings, etc. But all that comes after.

The good part, however: Now my potential agent wants to see the completed manuscript, thus opening up the possibility of her negotiating a paperback sale. And the better part: Yesterday, Caitlin R. Kiernan had very nice words indeed to say about my Lovecraft Unbound piece, "Marya Nox". Since I'm a big fan, this make my heart sing.;)

Okay, I have to go meet Steve, pick up Cal. Tonight: BodyCombat. And an end!

Amended to add: 527 more, and DONE! So--now that we're done with The Most Exposition EVAR, it's on to The Endless Dream-Sequence! (With a side-order of exposition.)
