Late and Tired

The Dutch have already read it, and want a rewrite--they want my main character's tumor-sister to be puppeting her around, "sort of bipolar", making her do stuff. Fine, sure. I'm going to make it clear they get ONE more draft, though, 'cause I have other shit to do.

Tomorrow, meanwhile, it's off to school to put my course outlines in to be copied, then back to pick up Cal and take him for another assessment. I can actually be there this time, which...may help. Possibly. Hopefully.

And then I made the mistake of reading [livejournal.com profile] storm_grant's FAQ on orig-ing up your fanfic, which made me think hmmm, yeah, maybe. Because Christ, I've already written a damn novel, haven't I? Just girl it up and do some research, make it whatever replaced PW4, or what have you...or don't girl it up, and make it the least user-friendly gay porno ever. One way or another, that's an awful lot of wordage just sort of lying there, isn't it?

And now I must sleep, or everything I've done today will be useless. Ta.

You say that like it's a bad thing... Think of it as e-recycling. ;-)

Thanks for friending me.

Where do you find the energy? You amaze me! Truthfully...what vitamins are you taking, 'cause I gotta get me some.

Well, thanks a bunch, but I don't think I'm actually all that, energy-wise. I'd be a lot further ahead by this point, if I was...

You're already pretty amazing in the "further ahead" department. And quite admirable. You're a teacher, mother, accomplished writer, mother, and you work-out on a regular basis. I admire people who hold down a day job and also write. It's hard work, shifting back and forth between the creative medium (the "zone") and the concrete. (Not to mention the mechanics of writing...!)
