handful_ofdustOkay, so it wasn't quite the looming mountain of crap I convinced myself that it might be. But nevertheless, eight hours of class vs. a half-hour of break? Sucks. As a concept. If they do this to me again, I'm going to punch somebody's teeth through the back of their head.
Last night was all right, for once. I think things might finally be breaking up for me, which is good, since tomorrow I have to turn up in the middle of Butt-Fuck Nowhere(tm) at 7:00 AM in order to play a zombie. We're dropping Cal off at the Barringers' in Mississauga, which means we have to go down there tonight...hope Mom got some face- and coo-time with him already today, because she won't be seeing him again until Sunday. I'd also planned on restarting BodyFlow this weekend, but that obviously ain't happening, either.
One good thing: The MTPL system finally coughed up A Dark Dividing, which meant I was able to breeze through it in a couple of hours by the time I did go to bed. I'm slightly interested by the way that Sarah Rayne plots always end up with her heroines being imprisoned in weird old abandoned houses/mills/what-have-you by psychotics, then rescued at the last moment by dudes who (up 'til then) haven't actually envinced much previous interest in them...you know, THAT way. At any rate, she's still gruesome and dark enough for my tastes, and ADD is a lot better than Spider Light, so rah.
Now it's coffee, pee, and back to scripts. I'm sure you're glad you "asked".
