handful_ofdustLast night was Echo Women's Choir, great as always--I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying the process. Today, no music lesson for Cal (his teacher is sick), and BodyCombat and YogaFit tonight for me. Steve got to go out with his friends on the spur of the moment, so I'm hoping that was fun. I used Rogers on Demand to get caught up with the Season Two start-up episode of Person of Interest, which is just becoming more and more fun, then checked out the pilot for 666 Park Avenue. My personal feeling is that if your apartment building is called "the Drake" and has a serpent/dragon mosaic in its laundry room, you should probably move out lickety-split, but as ever, these fools don't know what genre they're stuck in. Still, fun to see Terry O'Quinn freaking people out on my TV screen again, if nothing else.
In other news, I'm working alternately on my ChiZine.com review of Beyond the Black Rainbow and tooling around with various incomplete pieces. This creative drought is beginning to get to me to such an extent that I just want to finish something, and I'm not too fussed about whatever it turns out to be. I feel like my head is full of gunk.
Also listening to Warren Zevon, obviously. Or not so obviously--I'm never sure just how many people are aware of Zevon, outside "Werewolves of London". You still means something to me, though.
