Yesterday, out of sheer frustration, I did this sort of insane thing: I promised students in two classes that I would give them copies of my books if they promised to read them and post reviews on Amazon.com. Particularly of The Worm in Every Heart, obviously. I stressed that these don't have to be positive reviews, just that I wanted to jack up the book's presence online; a surprisingly large amount of peopel signed up, which means I may have to ask them to pass copies around amongst themselves, and take orders for more later on. But at least that'll be something.

And now, we see if this lets me post, since it apparently won't let me edit anything afterwards. Christ!
