Been a Long, Long Time

What happened was (short version), I got sick. Am still sick. And tired, too. Sick and tired, of being sick and tired.

Does Cal have it? Yes, but not as bad as me--thank Christ. Does Steve have it? Not yet, but I'm setting my watch.

In other news, still liking Invasion, Supernatural is pretty amazingly stupid, that guy who plays Carlos on ReGenesis is in Eternal (a surprisingly fun Erzebet Bathori knock-off from Quebec) as a tough, S/M-loving cop, and Cal's Uncles & Aunts party went well. Bought Batman Begins on DVD and Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine on CD, and was well-pleased with both. In a great moment of idiocy, I also signed up for oz_magi, though I at least knew enough not to try for yuletide. So it goes.

Now Cal is trying to eat my leg, so I'll sign off. I have no idea if there'll be anything later on, aside from the usual snot-horking and Neo-Citran consumption. But you don't necessarily have to hear about THAT first-hand.;)

Of the three alien-invasion shows this season, I'm digging Surface much more than Invasion or Threshhold, probably because it's got giant monsters instead of "humans taken over by/replaced by aliens" which I'll a little burned out on. We'll see which shows survive.
