A Bit Better (In Every Way)

handful_ofdustWoke up this morning with a sinus full of liquid that tipped out as I sat up, and I've been re-draining the damn thing ever since. Nevertheless, I feel like I've turned a corner. And I just did 760 words on Chapter Eleven, so that's good, too...
But now: Need to go outside, eat some real food, maybe even check out Caitlin R. Kiernan's The Red Tree, if it's already reached up here. I don't think I can quite rationalize buying it, just yet, but I suppose we'll have to see. Take back my overdue copy of Prison Break: The Final Break, which was fun but not essential (though it did contain the fairly wonderful spectacle of Lori Petty playing a Miami prison "bitch block" queenpin named Daddy--the literal female version of T-Bag, though less physically attractive than I meant A-Cat to be, in her skanky Southern way). Then go pick up the boy, and see just how crazy both of us can get before tonight's BodyCombat class.
I'm still a day behind, due to the long weekend, but I do feel like I'm finally somewhat ahead, too. It's nice.;)
