Brief Good/Bad, Sunday Edition

Good: Today's my Dad's birthday, and I actually have a present for him (a DVD they made at Surrey Place of Cal's therapy sessions). I also just sent him a chatty email and a playlist of stuff hosted at Box.net, which I will gladly post here (f-locked) for those who are interested, if it turns out people are interested.

Bad: I haven't actually sent the DVD to him yet, so I had to lie about that. And it's good I already had the DVD anyways, because it's only halfway through the month, and we are officially stone, cold broke.

In other news, District 9 has been playing at my local movie theatre for three weeks now, leading it to be paired amusingly with whatever's newest on the marquee each week, like so: District 9 Bandslam (Wikus plays bass), District 9 Halloween [2] (Chris Junior goes every year as a meat-sack/human being), District 9 Sorority Row (cut to a bunch of prawns in low-cut, slinky dresses, clicking at each other. Subtitled translation: Like, he is SOOOO cute, but he is SUUUCH a douche! Y'know? Hey, let's play a prank on some loser!)...

P.S.: Joined a bunch of Inglourious Basterds communities. Annoyingly, no one seems to have yet done any Donny icons which just say: Golem!
