Well...it's been an interesting couple of days, one way or the other. Had the length conversation with my publisher(s), which didn't go at all the way I thought it would; I'll update on what ensued from that when I know for sure that I can, but suffice it to say, it's potentially a very positive development indeed. Meanwhile, the agent wants my revised Blood from the Air outline ASAP, which I suppose bodes well. But I'm incredibly tired, mainly because the dryness et al kept me up 'til 3:00 AM yet again, and Steve has to go to Mississauga tonight to give back the car/help his parents erect a gazebo, leaving me to deal with Crazy Stimming Sliding Man all on my ownsome. I think we're both going to bed early, at this rate.
Other stuff: My Mom may have not gotten a commercial she really wanted, but did get tapped to play Sister Mary Aloysius on stage in Doubt this October, in Sudbury; one of her friends is playing the Viola Davis role, so she's pretty happy. The movie Horsemen, dumped straight to DVD as it summarily was, is actually quite good--a bit of a stand-alone Millennium episode, if you like that sort of thing (and I do). And the more I think about the end of Harper's Island, the happier I am with it; I'm okay with it being a miniseries only, too. Though I'd've loved to've seen what they came up with for Season Two.
As for the final word on my "area", well--there ain't one yet, but I'm booked to see a gynacologist, and in the meantime, there's the wonderfully-named Replens. It does seem to be working, thank Christ.
Tiiiired. I'm going to pop Cal in a bath, and get busy sleeping.
