Good Parts

My webmail is finally working again, mainly because I switched to using Firefox as a browser, thank God (and Steve). And I just sent the last three poems ("Ed Gein...", "Clown..." and "Verse...") off to Matrix magazine, in hopes that they'll consider them for their "Terror"-themed issue; good call, baggyeyes.

And now--to the bed-cave!

A Book of Tongues: THUD

Words thus far today: Roughly 1,000. Section I'm working on: Not even vaguely finished. I keep going back and tweaking, adding little fillips. And oh my God, this whole chapter is going to be roughly the size of New York by the time I'm done--which only makes sense, since I have Rook constantly folding back and forth through his own memory throughout it, much like Dr Manhattan. See, it all comes together eventually.;)

Whole file now up to: 31,198 words. Which is...scary, but good. However, "Signal to Noise" is snagged yet again, and I've caught myself picking at "History's Crust", instead. It's good to have both a default and an alternate, I suppose...
