A Book of Tongues: THUD
Jan. 30th, 2009 10:03 pmWords added: 1,010.
Words overall: 19,249.
Where you at?: 'Bout two-thirds of the way through Chapter Four. I wish I was further, but the floodgates have finally opened and I'm cramping hard, so...maybe I'll finish it tomorrow. It'd be really nice to get some work done on Saturday, this time 'round.
Victories: Done with Mictlan-Xibalba, done with my-Ma's-a-whore angst (not that Chess actually has much, all in all--he's a shameless whore, son-of-a-whore and a cat-eyed bitch, and he'll shoot you where you stand if you try and rag him out on any of the above. That's probably what I like best about him). On to the part where Songbird vomits bats!
Challenges: CBC adaptation guy called today. Luckily, I didn't have to explain to him directly that I have exactly nothing to show him, because I've been too busy writing my big gay black magic cowboy (not-so-)porno epic instead; unluckily, I guess this means I'm going to have to pull something out of my ass by Monday. Man, it's so hard being popular.;)
So: Much great music has recently been sent my way, mainly all from the same source (thanks, sovay!). And that's why I no have an "official" A Book of Tongues playlist, which goes like so--
