Project Planning, Part 2

Okay, so I've just finished cooking dinner, making salad for the next few days, and cooking that bean stew I kept threatening to cook at the same time--good choice on my part, because the pancetta it involves was supposed to go off on (gasp!) September 11. The stew genuinely does usually taste better the day after, though, so I don't feel too bad about having to wait to see if it turned out okay.

First off, some apologies and sympathy: Very, VERY sorry about having to miss the en masse Saturday Bakka signing by kelpqueen, lonesome_crow, jack_yoniga and someone else whose name I can't remember, plus I don't know their handle if they have one; big hugs also go out to moon_custafer and green_trilobite, who are dealing with an extremely difficult decision/transition. I'm thinking of you all (though grantedly, in the first four people's cases, it's because I hope you won't want to hit me the next time you see me;)).

I had hoped to fill youse all in on my adventures in consumption this weekend, but frankly, I'm a bit too tired now to tally. Suffice it to say that the living room is now much better-lit than usual (for, thanks to a clearance sale at the Bay, the princely sum of $41.95!), we have more towels, I have a printer cartridge, there's paper enough to do all the printing we both have to do, and DVDs, CDs and books (new and used) were bought by all. Very good content-wise, thus far. And...

I think I know what I'm going to do for Novel_in_90, this time 'round. I'm even already working on a breakdown. But more on that even later.
