Eleven Days
Feb. 17th, 2006 12:39 pmThat, give or take, is how long it seems to have taken for me to complete "Dead Voices on Air", which I finished last night. 9,060 words, mainly done in hour-per-day increments (one half-hour in the morning, one at night). Of course, you also have to factor in the fact that there were perhaps four days (two weekends) on which I didn't write at all, due to various considerations, and a few days (maybe three) on which I was able to steal more time here and there, so perhaps the average is more like two hours per day, or an hour and a half. But...
It's done, and now I'm free to A) go back to "Niemand" and B) start "Every Angel", which I want to be the piece I fit up for The Chiaroscuro. I did this, managed to work out as well (perhaps three or four days out of every seven), kept up with school (though one of those week was Break Week). If this is the Way of the Cheetah, I think I could get used to it.;)
