"Strange Weight": Thud (Yes, I'm Stealing That Trope)

Initial "I may have a vocation" conversation with Fr. Gowther achieved, with extra sucks-growing-up-quarter-Faeness. Done today: 1,029 words. Overall: 13,990 words.

Next on the agenda: Updating said agenda, plus chores, followed by 1,000 words of A Book of Tongues; I may not be able to get the last part done before BodyCombat, but I can for sure get it done after. Which puts me well towards wrapping Chapter Two sometime on Friday, so that I can turn up at the HWA dinner--5:00 PM Saturday, the Madison--with two-thirds of an entire pitch package or more, if I actually manage to write on Saturday, too (but Year Zero may interfere with that, so I'm not making any promises to myself). This means that the only thing I'm behind on right now is that CBC thing; fingers crossed the dude won't call or email, in the meantime.

On another note completely...is anyone else on interlog, as an email provider? Is anyone else find it nigh im-fucking-possible to get your Goddamn mail to load? Because I am.

Yeah! I was saying this afternoon on novel-in-90 that the two "problems" I uncovered in my writing today were that exposition can be clumpy and dumpy, and that Mac has maybe the most depressing life ever. If he wasn't so snarky (and unsure if he has a soul or not), he probably would've killed himself by now.;)
