handful_ofdustMan, I am just so fucking tired of being up all fucking night, especially on Sunday, and especially for no good reason. Especially because by the time I've figured out I'm going to be up all fucking night, it's way beyond the point where I could spend at least part of that time doing anything useful. The absolute only good thing about tonight? I got to watch most of The Seventh Seal, which I'd never seen before, because Turner Classic Movies insists on showing seminal foreign films at 3:00 A.M. (last time it was Spirit of the Beehive). But it doesn't really make up for the fact that I now want to sleep until I have to go pick Cal up from school.
P.S.: Oh, and you know what else I'm tired of? This is a while back, and I know I should just stop looking, but...I'm really tired of tripping across things like coffeeandink calling The Dark Knight "this great new movie by Leni Riefenstahl", thus basically branding me a neo-Nazi for liking the shit I like. Sorry, lady--I know you're all meta and edjumacated and what-not, while I barely made it through a B.A.A., but every time you go out of your way to try and find Totalitarian self-justification in stuff like TDK, I get the urge to start laughing hysterically and never, ever stop. Jesus Freaking Christ!

Date: 2008-09-23 02:19 am (UTC)That's how a friend of mine pisses off some people. She blows them kisses right after she refuses to let them cut her off in traffic; Smiles sweetly right after someone calls her a bitch. In fact she said, 'thank you'. They had no response. Just kind of gaped at her.
