...is back, or maybe another bug...man, who knows. The fact is, though, that earlier this week, Cal had a night where he threw up several times in quick succession; late on Friday night, Steve did the same, then moped around for much of the day. And this morning, I rose to pee, yawned deeply while sitting on the john--then felt the cold sweat rise all over me, looked down, was possessed by a wave of nausea and puked up everything inside me onto the bathroom floor, again and again and again.
I'm better now, basically--still with the diarrhea, twice as bad as ever, but I haven't actually hurled again. And considering that vomiting is perhaps my least favorite activity on the face of the Earth, that's pretty good, I guess.
Still, I'm exhausted. Puking always feels like being run through a wringer, for me. And I also had hideous cramps for most of the day afterwards, probably normal PMS, but brought on A) earlier and B) worse than usual, because of my abdominals spasming. But at least the apartment doesn't smell anymore, so I'm happy for that; I've also booked off work for tomorrow, to make damn sure things don't get derailed in terms of me getting the fuck over this. This places ALL my classes a week behind, which will no doubt annoy some, but too bad--actually, it's far easier for me. And that's what counts.;)
Good part: Being sick made me brainstorm yet another Ben/Charlie piece, one involving (surprise!) being sick. I'll start transcribing those notes tonight. Bad part: I feel like Cal's getting crappy end of all possible sticks, thought at least he hasn't had to contend with both parents being sick at the same time, as yet.
Went back and rented 3:10 to Yuma again last night, rewatched it, still love it. I have it for one more day, so I'm going to treat myself to Ben Foster doing his nasty "hi, my name's Dan Evans, I'm a yokel" impression for the marshall and Butterworth, if not every other part of his performance, too.;)) It's a pity that Charlie and Dan really only ever met that one time, because it'd be really interesting to see how they interacted, if they were forced to...subject matter for somebody's A/U, maybe?
