Best Week "Off" Evar

...in terms of getting shit done, if nothing else. Because yes, Cal has yet another summer cold, and yes, he still isn't speaking--indeed, he seems to have lost most of the speech he already had, in that he just runs around jazz-screaming stuff at apparent random. But I did get him to Sick Kids for his blood test today, and I also managed to write 2,700 words' worth of notes on The Mercy Seat last night. I also solved the strategic problems I had with the rest of "Words Written Backwards", thus freeing myself to start pounding my head against it afresh tonight. Oh, and when Dona weighed/measured me today, I was a pound down, a point of body-fat less, and had lost an inch, a half-inch or a quarter-inch from almost everywhere on my body.

So, yeah! I am the God of a shining new world! Give me my money! Or at least my Death Note back!
