Thanks, Man

Seriously. Actually, I just finished Draft One, thank Christ--surprisingly painless, for all the procrastination. As to the end result being brilliant, I doubt it, because it's (just) a journalistic article about a woman who's apparently one of the best sound editors in Canada...I'd settle for "readable", 'specially since I know so pitifully little about the subject. Anyhow, hopefully the editor will be back with notes by morning, and I can get it out to bed.

As to your other question: I have two collections of short stories out (Kissing Carrion and The Worm in Every Heart), and they encapsulate/collect pretty much everything I've written over the last fifteen years, most of which was indeed published in magazines and/or anthologies. They're the single best place to find my stuff, but you'd probably have to order them either directly from Prime Books or through Amazon.com--that's what I have to do, when I want some. Absolute worst-case scenario, send me an email directly and we'll work out some sort of deal, with me mailing you copies on my own hook. I'm not proud, and I have so few fans, it seems stupid not to cultivate them any way I can.;)

BTW, I never did give you the Cliff's Notes version on "The Emperor's..." Do you still want it?
