I feel very sad for that film. I sat down thinking, This can't be more terrible than 1980s Conan - but say what you like about 1980s Conan, it had its own internal logic and cohesion. And I have a soft spot for the short stories.

But Conan 2011 seems to be held together solely by handwaving and CGI. I find this slightly disappointing.
