this lack of a clear narrative voice is really difficult

I'm writing a story narrated in part by a ghost (but mostly by an unclear narrative voice, LOL), and it is literally death. A lot harder than I thought it would be. I just feel like throwing apples at it right now.

I actually enjoyed My Soul To Keep, but I think I was going in with zero expectations? It is kind of ridiculously complicated, though.
