Still: Though I woke from the classic anxiety dream in which I had to teach a course I hadn't prepared for to a room full of maniac idiots, this hasn't been a bad morning overall. I sent off some more cover-flats, trying to drum up potential promotion for BoT, then wrote a 500-word story ("Copy Degradation") for Christopher Fowler and Maura McHugh's Campaign for Real Fear. Interesting exercise--I almost never write flash-fiction, though since some of my ideas (like this one) are pretty much just glorified campfire stories, the medium would really seem to fit them.
