Words added: 1,432 thus far, which isn't bad, but I need to post a letter and do some other stuff before going to pick up Cal. Still think I can get this done by maybe tomorrow or the day after (Friday at the latest), which then frees me up to move on to the big huge dream-sequence plot twist revelation. And yeah, it's exposition city, but that's the stage we're in; I've spent the last five days sliding back and forth on how detailed I want to get about one particular scene--show it? Tell it? Show and tell it?--and have finally decided on the third option, while keeping getting down there (ie, our trip through hell) as curt as possible, because let's face it, we've spent a fair damn amount of time in Mictlan-Xibalba already.
