Yeah, I know what you mean. My Dad is a retired minister, and I never knew a better man - honest, kind and caring; but that doesn't stop him from thinking I'm going to hell for just being who I am. And you can't change their minds, no matter what you try to do. It's harder when it's someone you love, to see that kind of bigotry, because it's totally honest - it's something they feel down to their core.
