Tuesday Poetry/Sick
Sep. 23rd, 2014 08:52 amSo yeah, I now officially have Cal's cold--my head is rigid with snot, I'm exhausted but I can't sleep because I almost immediately start to have drowning dreams when my air cuts off, throat hurts a bit, no breath control, etc. Which all makes the likelihood of me being able to meet this next deadline is very small indeed, so I guess I should probably email those people, but...like I said, tired. I'm having trouble organizing this post, let alone anything professional.
Still, with Chapter 6, I think I am officially halfway through "Death to Everyone," or maybe more than. So that's good, in its way. I also direct your attention to the first issue of Liminality, a new online poetry magazine co-edited by Shira Lipkin and Mat Joiner (http://www.liminalitypoetry.com/issue-1/), which came out yesterday and contains my poem "Sacred." It's a great showcase for speculative poetry, so check check it.
Okay. Back to bed.
