Somnambulist

Kacked out hard near the end of today, possibly from sun-sickness after standing outside waiting for Cal's last bus home from school. I need a hat, obviously, and I need to start putting on sunscreen, because the weather has taken yet another hairpin turn, and while I'm not exactly a vampire, I really don't like the results. At any rate, I fell asleep and slept 'till almost 8:30, then got up once my back started hurting so much I couldn't take pulled the trigger on getting Cal into bed. He went out with [redacted] today, the Social Studies student we pay the play with him, and returned absolutely high, covered in dirt, dancing--still fairly crazy by the time I got him in the bath, but then he calmed down, them more I ladelled food into him. That's usually the main cause, whenever he gets super-overloaded like that.

Anyhow. I need to vet the layout copy for We Will All Go Down... by Monday, then Tuesday is one deadline (5000+ words into that one), Wednesday another (1,100+, thus far). Wednesday is also when summer school starts, thank God. And I'm in the process of preparing a series of posts leading up to the release date (August 19th). And then there's Readercon.

No fucking wonder I'm tired.
