I feel as though I've been in a holding pattern for at least a week. And now I have until tomorrow to finish my story, which should really be enough, but who knows? I'm not convinced it's such a great piece of work generally, which doesn't help, but I'm also bleeding and I want to sleep all the time, which definitely doesn't help.

Two things I think I'm going to have to make a decision about are Tumblr, which used to provide stress relief and now makes me convulse with rage every other (re)post--their version of Oscars coverage was really the last straw--and TV in general, because I think my "stories" are taking over a larger portion of my time than seems entirely healthy. The amusement factor of tracking several narratives aside, I can't talk to almost anybody about them--as ever, I'm on the outermost edge of fandom generally, and no one I have access to seems to be tracking the shows I'm invested in, besides (say) Hannibal. And maybe this latter point doesn't really matter much, since I'm not producing fic anymore and my fandom presence has long since been reduced to lurking on anonymemes, but it does get a bit lonely.

Right now, my week tends to look like this:

Monday:
The Following
sometimes Two Broke Girls (because Steve watches it)
The Blacklist
maybe Castle (because Steve watches it)
maybe Bates Motel (which premiered last night)
Tuesday:
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD
Person of Interest
Wednesday:
Nothing
Thursday:
The Big Bang Theory (because Steve watches it--and left to his own devices, he can also watch it for upwards of an hour and a half any given day on three different channels)
Elementaru
Friday:
Hannibal
Helix
Saturday:
sometimes Being Human US
sometimes Bitten
Sunday:
The Walking Dead
Ripper Street

True Detective will be over this coming week, and doesn't count anyways, because it's on a channel I can't even get. And yes, a lot of these are limited series--I tend to invest in limited series, possibly because I'm not a mainstream sort of chick. But in the long run, all that means is that whenever something discontinues, there's something else waiting to take its place.

TV. Maybe it's the fact that it's "free" which fucks you up.

Anyhow. I've already wasted far too much time on this shit today, but I sort of felt like I "had" to make an entry, since it's been almost a week again. Wish I could say it was because I'd been productive.
