Threw Up, When I Saw What I'd Done
Sep. 23rd, 2011 03:04 pmSo yes, there's definitely something going on with my gastric tract. Which makes sense, considering that Celebrex, the anti-inflammatory I've been on, comes with a warning that literally says: May/probably will cause ulcers. So Dr Gora took me off Celebrex for the next ten days (this'll be fun) and gave me a prescription for Tecta, which is supposed to minimize stomach acid. Things do already feel a bit better in that direction, just like they already feel a bit worse in the direction of my shoulder.
Otherwise, I took the opportunity to burn all my R.E.M. to my new laptop, and ended up importing a bunch of it to the playlist titled "Loki". Turns out, while New Adventures in Hi-Fi is still my enduring favourite, an amazing amount of R.E.M. songs sound like they were written from the POV of a disgruntled trickster god. Who'd'a thunk?
