One More Day...

...of mainly running errands rather than doing anything else. There's been good news in the interim, though I can't currently be more specific, because it's of the "oh, so I hear this is probably going to happen" variety. Still, it's looming close enough to fruition to involve, say, agents and lawyers and such. And now I must zip my virtual lip.

Otherwise: Organized the rest of the first section of Chess and Oona in Hell. Lots of good stuff in there. I need to go back over it, pare it, then check over the Prologue again because there's stuff I need to launch as happening in the background that I don't think really got covered, first time 'round. Then move on to the next section, and see where the other chips start falling. I need to not worry about how I'm writing this book, so much, as to simply continue writing it.

All right. Need to pry Cal off the john, get ready to take him to the dentist, etc.

Jack (Jonathan)-centric, and really gorgeous, here (http://sweetestdrain.livejournal.com/265160.html). Reminds me how much I miss the prospect of a Season Two. It's gotta suck when your Dad and God have issues, especially when you yourself don't want anything to do with either of them.

Weirdly, I actually had a dream about this vid this morning--my brain had added a long prologue that looked like it was taken from said nonexistent Season Two. A child possessed by the God of Gilboa was talking to Jack about David's upcoming coronation. "You must know who he is by now," the child said. "Do you know who I am?" Jack replied, which sounds very much like him. ("Where your bed is made is none of my concern, Jonathan Benjamin," God said, simply.)
