White C--t?

Still feeling hella lousy, though slightly less hella lousy than before. I'd also eventually like to post at length on the annoyance of what people are now calling "white cock!" syndrome--ie, the tendency of (often female) fans to concentrate on (often pale-to-the-max) M/M pairings to the exclusion of awesome female/chromatic characters. It's particularly weird that this is now something failfandomanon memers are reflexively accusing SJers of...internalized misogyny in action, or just plain lack of imagination?

But it does make me think about my own usual how-to-make-a-cool-chick pattern, which is to take a guy I like and flip them, then see what emerges. Sometimes the results are pretty rad, IMNSHO, much like these genderswitched versions of Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers' evil exes (http://www.tencentticker.com/projectrooftop/2010/09/17/she-designhe-design-the-evil-exes-by-jemma-salume/). So they will have to do for now, as a tasty, tasty placeholder.
