Out of the Woodwork
Apr. 7th, 2010 10:23 amYesterday was Steve and I's eighth anniversary, BTW. Don't feel bad--I kind of forgot it too.
In other news, the issue of Shroud magazine containing my story "The Underneath" is supposedly out, though whether it's actually available anywhere near me is a whole 'nother question. I do seem to recall they owe me a contributor's copy, though, so...sometime soon? Possibly.
I've been feeling sort of vaguely crapola for a few days now. Not sure why. Hope it goes away by the weekend/Ad Astra. But at least I'm hammering in the notes of I've made over the last six (!) days, and hopefully I'll eventually be able to make up for having hit April SO off my damn stride.
Amended to add: Statement from Spoken Ink says their download of "The Emperor's Old Bones" has netted me a cool one pound eighty thus far.;) And I just clocked 1,051 words on A Rope of Thorns, bringing the overall word-count to 36,082; mainly notes, like I said, but extremely necessary ones, as I've now essentially roughed out much of the middle and the mechanics of the end. Feeling better already.
Second Amendment: Aaaand...Segregation is up again, for those who missed my fic. Not sure what that was about, but it's currently serving all your OZ dub-con needs once more. Enjoy.;)
