Well, One Out of Two...
Jan. 19th, 2010 09:16 am...ain't bad, I suppose: Thanks to baggyeyes, I have my Ministry/Staff Sergeant William James interior POV fix. "Khyber Pass", specifically, featuring the operatic background vocals of Liz Constantine. Since this marks maybe the first time ever I've downloaded a program which actually ended up working for me rather than against me, it probably bears further celebration. But today's Tuesday, and Steve crapped out on me halfway through last night due to taking too much Gravol, so--maybe not.
OTOH, perhaps you wonder what's been happening in the grumpy lady's life aside from annoying myself with The Endless Useless Debate re M/M. Well, on the Cal front, he's settled into a routine of quietly playing with himself and his stuff at night, particularly after a tiring day, then eventually putting himself to bed: Good. However, he's also developed a sudden and inexplicable fear of baths, to the point of standing there weeping while you literally have to wipe him down with a washcloth: Bad, because he's a big boy now, and gets pretty stinky after a day or so. I mean, it certainly does jack up his language, the way things he wants/does not want tend to--he'll start saying things like "No, okay? Get out! Toilet time! [as a diversion, ie if you let me out of here, I'll try to pee in the toilet; you like THAT] All done!", fast and loud and clear, and pull the plug out every time you put it back in. But I truly do not understand where this is coming from, and would be very glad if it would stop.
Otherwise, same old same old. I found out that I can use the simplified renewal form for my passport, which is good, but because of general busyness, I still have to do things in little increments--not a laudable state of affairs. Got the reno job hanging over my head, etc. All that.
And now...back to it. This has already taken too long.
Amended to add: Okay, just cracked 700 words, which means I'm back up to speed--especially so if I can do the same thing tonight. And now, a bath.
