Waiting

Still waiting for my period to begin. Still waiting on personal news. Once it comes, I'll be absent for a while (until Sunday, probably), because I'll be deep in work-hibernation. Right now, however, I'm just moving things around, trying to set up the first three chapters of A Rope.... For those who are keeping track/interested, Chapter One involves a visit to the Dentist which turns out, um, oddly. Chapter Two involves a dream of dark, troubling (and sexy) things. In Chapter Three (and possibly Chapter Four) our antiheroes attend a wedding, which is broken up by the arrival of a second clergyman. And then there's stuff I still have to figure out as to exactly what Songbird, the Pinkertons and poor, deluded Dr Asbury are doing throughout roughly the same time-period, aside from rendezvousing with one new character while trying to avoid another new character, who may end up approaching our heroes instead. Etc.

But none of this can particularly catch fire unless my waiting ends, which it will hopefully do soon. And in the meantime, I still have to go pick up Cal.
