Two Days Later

Yesterday I wrote a very brief email to my Dad and could barely lift my right arm, so I ended up having to punctuate and capitalize very carefully indeed. Today, not the same. I'm happy about that. I'm also not as much in pain, or as tired, though I'm pretty logy. I puked up a mess of toast, water and painkillers this morning. And when I look down, for the first time in literal years, I can see my stomach.

Itchy. He says they'll still be Cs or Ds, once the swelling goes down. I think I can take that.
