Executive Decision 2: Electric Boogaloo

It's entirely likely this stems from habits I've picked up while writing fanfic--ie, get the hell to where you can fucking post, then do it, before you pop a gasket and/or lose your audience--but yes, it's official: I've decided to split the mammoth Chapter Six of A Book of Tongues into chapters Six, Seven and Eight. This means I finally have something to send the relevant beta-reading parties, while also putting me officially already a third of the way through Chapter Seven (with, again, about 1,000 more words added today alone). In one fell swoop, my writerly ineptitude has turned to writerly awesome.

Ah, yes: I could stand to feel like this a lot more often.;)

P.S.: In the Department of Also Awesome, agincourtgirl has been released from hospital--they're watching her, but surgery doesn't seem immediately necessary, which rocks. I hope to be hearing from her soon.
