Buh-horing

It's crap-ass times at the house of Files and Barringer, one way or the other: Illness, worry about money and employment, etc. Monday was spent running various errands, including attempting to transfer my RRSPs from TD to ING; Tuesday was about going to Service Canada, where I discovered it will take them five weeks to call and talk to me about job training options. No writing either day, though last night I watched Red Sands, the new movie from the same team which brought us Dead Birds--it's really solid, so at least I have a potential subject for my next FearZone column.

But yeah, Steve's freaking, and I'm not happen with myself for falling so sharply behind on my word-counts. Unfortunately, most of today is going to be about Cal's language assessment at the Geneva Centre, then BodyCombat. Mom all day. I need to regroup, just start inputting notes and clocking 500 to 1,000 on something. Three days is (more than) long enough.
