"A Book of Tongues": Still Alive

I was really hoping to get Chapter Two hooked up tonight, but that was before Cal had this massive weird melt-down that we eventually figured out must have had something to do with butt-rash, and cried and screamed until he exhausted himself into a nap. Now he's back down again, and I've finally broken 709 words; still, it's like pulling fucking taffy, so c'est la. I need sleep.
