Chapter One: Achieved.
Jan. 9th, 2009 07:06 pmChapter One, grind-y but servicable (I hear that perhaps this is normal for book-writing, so I won't beat myself up about it): 4,052 words. A Book of Tongues: 7,920. For the rest of tonight I'm going to switch to outlining, try and get the general shape down, then print out before seeing kelpqueen tomorrow...but first, yoga!
If I keep this up--a chapter a week, say--it occurs to me that I might have a Ground Zero draft in maybe twenty-five weeks. But I don't want to get ahead of myself, just in case...I do have other stuff to do. Some of which comes with deadlines attached.
Still! I say, God DAMN!
