Where Is Gemma?
Mar. 28th, 2008 12:00 pmHere's where (and when) I'll be at this weekend's Ad Astra Convention, for those who might be interested--
Friday, 9:00 PM, Ballroom East: "The Experience of Blogging", with Suzanne Church.
Saturday, 11:00 AM, Salon 443: Reading. I'll probably be doing a selection from "When I'm Armoring My Belly", "Imaginary Beauties" and "Fin de Siecle", aka Chapter One of Last Things.
3:00 PM, Ballroom West: "Collaboration", with Stephen J. Barringer (strangely!).
6:00 PM, Gallery Centre: "Death Becomes Them" (I have absolutely no idea what this is about, so it should be interesting).
8:00 PM, Salon 443: "Horror: How Far Is Too Far?" (aaah, the eternal question).
Sunday, 10:00 AM, Refelections: "What's New in SF, Fantasy and Horror?"
1:00 PM, Ballroom Centre: "The Rise of Paranormal Romance".
Yes, I'll be bringing copies of Words Written Backwards, the poetry, the collections. Yes, I'll sell them to you if you want them. Yes, I'll sign them, too. Yes, Cal will be there on Saturday and Sunday, so if you're allergic to little Autistic boys, avoid me. Yes, he will sometimes be with his father. Yes, I'll be drinking. Yes, if you once wrote dismissive crap about me on the Internet, I don't want to see you anywhere near me. Yes, I'd love to see you otherwise, so everybody else, feel free to come on down. Thanks!
