Thursday Already?
Sep. 27th, 2007 08:28 amYou know, I'm not entirely sure what it is...the unseasonably sultry weather, the lack of light, the fact that I haven't been able to work out since Sunday...but I feel like fucking dreck. And I haven't done much since posting that poem, either, which is really annoying. Still, there was good stuff:
Heroes and Prison Break on Monday.
Got two great fan-letters, one saying my work was like eating a poisonous flower, the other claiming I broke a guy's brain.
Isolation, an old-school Irish horror movie set on a cow farm, also stars Essie Davis (Mrs. L. from the BBC's Sweeney Todd).
And--that's it, so far. Now I need to hustle off to the gym, then go give my exam and get some marks in. Saturday I'll be at the "HWA" dinner, Sunday at the Burning Effigy booth at Word on the Street from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Drop by if you want to buy a copy of Words WRitten Backwards and get it signed.
