After what seemed like a million years (aka ten days) of blockeditude, I finally wrote roughly 2,000 words today. Mainly on "Marya Nox", which is good (I need to polish and submit that puppy before June 30, after all)--and yes, a lot of it involved working with stuff I already had rather than coming up with the brand-new freshness, but since it now has a beginning, middle and end, I'm well-pleased.
Less pleasing, unfortunately, is the fact that my DVD player seems to have suddenly cacked it for no apparent reason. So I'm going to bring my old one back from school (since it ain't like it's really being used, or anything) in the meantime, and then replace it. Must remember that said old player isn't all-region, but otherwise, 'twill do. (I also got a universal remote today, anyhow, so maybe I won't have to ever use my school equipment again. EVER! That would be fairly sweet.)
Okay. And now I must calm down, get dressed, and go off to school, where I have agreed to play myself in a little student production called 28 Terms Later. Infected assault the classroom, I barely notice, and survive because of it. I'll tell ya all about it, when I'm done.;)
