Basically, Horror-Web just published the worst review I've ever gotten for anything. It's for The Worm in Every Heart, by some guy named "Renfield", and it's pretty hilarious. I can't even take offense, really, since I did ask them to do it; wow, did THAT backfire. I guess I'm just doomed to never get any/positive notice for this collection at all, period. It's like karma, baby!
And no, I'm not going to go into details, because there's no point. But I will note that he apparently either didn't read "The Emperor's Old Bones", or is the only person thus far to find it unworthy of reaction, good or bad. Interesting: Much have a strong stomach, if nothing else. So much so that ritual cannibalism of children in pursuit of long life and renewed youth is basically passe, from his POV.
