Thanks so much for doing this! Reading your perspective on these guys is really interesting—especially when it comes to Schillinger, a character I feel *I* don't really understand very well.
Not to mention that by his own admission, Keller thinks he learned something from Schillinger, but Schillinger doesn’t seem to have thought enough about Keller to learn anything from him
Yeah, it really *does* seem that way sometimes—like he hasn't learned anything from him *or* about him, even by the end of the series. His motives are always all about Beecher. For example, in season 6, it doesn't really seem to occur to Schillinger that Keller might actually be up to no good when he supposedly "joins forces" with him.
I also like the idea of Keller thinking of Schillinger as a "former trick"—I think that's a great way of putting it.
Hmmm... I must now go ponder this relationship further... *g*
